Obama’s Kenyan Birth certificate up for sale on eBay

June 27, 2009

This is pretty funny. Ebay has cancelled the auction twice so far. The guy put it up again. The founder of eBay is a big Obama supporter. The guy says he got it from a hospital in Mombassa. Pretty funny stuff. He is amazed that Americans are so gullible in believing Obama’s birth lies and falling for his forged birth certificate…… I concur.

From WND:

An eBay seller who previously promised to deliver a certified copy of President Obama’s actual birth certificate – from a hospital in Mombasa, Kenya – has twice had his listing removed from the popular auction website.

In a third listing, however, the seller calling himself “colmado_naranja” has explained why the birth certificate was twice yanked by eBay administration.

“The first cancellation was done in what eBay describes as being in the interests of keeping my account safe,” the newest listing claims, referring to the now scrubbed item # 160344374585. “eBay was under the impression that a third party had accessed and compromised my account, that this third party put up the Barack Obama African birth certificate auction and that I had no knowledge of the said listing.”

Obama’s Financial Reform Plan Capitulates to Wall Street

June 23, 2009

So Obama’s (The Fed’s) solution is to centralize all regulation with the FED. So who regulating the Fed then?

This is perhaps the best written analysis so far of the Fed TARP and Cash for Trash scam that was used to save those that were “too big to fail.” But they weren’t too big when it came to the reckoning with how it was they lust destroyed the American way of life and our free enterprise system.

It’s a long one so plan to dedicate about a half hour of your life to reading it and more importantly understanding it. It is not for the faint of heart. Got better things to do with your time? Sorry can’t help you there. Anyway what’s more exciting than reading about how Wall St. just ruined America. It was a combined Democrat and Republican effort. Not only are they getting off scot free, they are setting us up to do the same thing again. But the good old American taxpayer is always there to carry the burden of their debt for them.

Instead of Real Financial Reform, Obama’s Plan capitulates to Wall Street

by Prof. Michael Hudson

The story is worse than just “Pres. Obama labored, and brought forth a mouse.” He is morphing into Joe Lieberman in reaching across the aisle for Republican support – and no doubt future campaign contributions from the financial sector. There also is a touch of Boris Yeltsin in sponsoring a financial “reform” disturbingly similar to what advisor Larry Summers backed in Russia – relinquishing government power to a banking elite (the notorious “Seven Bankers” in post-Soviet Russia). The Financial Regulatory Reform proposal promotes Wall Street’s “product,” debt creation, at the expense of the economy at large, and lets financial chieftains continue to self-regulate the debt industry – and by the way, to keep all their gains from the past decade’s worth of fraudulent lending, scot-free.

Confronting the wreckage of a debt crisis worse than any since the Great Depression, Mr. Obama has achieved what no Republican could have: rescuing the Bush Administration’s pro-creditor policies that fostered the Bubble Economy in the first place. “Most of the financial sector lobby community is happy with what has emerged,” the Financial Times summarized. A spokesman for the Financial Services Forum, a major Wall Street lobbying organization, called the proposals “careful and balanced.” With such endorsements, victims of predatory lending have good reason to worry. The Obama plan is just the opposite from reforming the financial system along lines that progressive Democrats and other critics have urged.

The plan’s six most fatal flaws are apparent in its preamble, which lays out a false diagnosis of the financial problem in a way that whitewashes Wall Street (in contrast to Mr. Obama’s nice televised populist speech giving verbal criticism to “culture of irresponsibility”). A false diagnosis must lead to wrong-headed cures – rarely by accident. There invariably is a financial beneficiary who gains from blind spots in a legal “reform” package.

1. Regulatory capture. Preparing the ground for future Alan Greenspan “free market” ideologues

The most serious problem is “regulatory capture”: control of the public regulatory process by the special interests being regulated. Mr. Obama’s speech introducing his reform was forthright in acknowledging that “some companies shop for the regulator of their choice … That is why, as part of these reforms, we will dismantle the Office of Thrift Supervision [OTS] and close loopholes that have allowed important institutions to cherry-pick among banking rules. We will offer only one federal banking charter, regulated by a strengthened federal supervisor.” It was the OTS, after all, that AIG and Washington Mutual chose as their regulator, as did GE Capital. The most incompetent, most ideologically opposed to serious regulation, its idea of a “free market” in practice was one free for fraud-ridden subprime lenders to do whatever they wanted.

One could go down the list of non-enforcement agencies – the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) not responding to warnings about Bernie Madoff, and the most deregulatory agency of them all: the Federal Reserve under Bubblemeister Alan Greenspan. Traditionally, the Fed has acted as lobby for the commercial banking system and indeed for Wall Street as a whole. (Its shares are owned by the commercial bank members of its system.) The Fed’s refusal to intervene to stop the subprime mortgage bubble, fraudulent lending and other elements of the Greenspan Chairmanship does not give much faith that it will take actions that will interfere with Wall Street’s money-making at the expense of the rest of the economy. Even today, the Fed is stonewalling Congress by refusing to release details on its $2 trillion “cash for trash” giveaway to favored Wall Street institutions.

It is supposed to be the Treasury’s role to represent the public interest. Unfortunately, appointing Treasury Secretaries from the ranks of Wall Street management – or giving Wall Street veto power over the nominee – undermines this mission. Elsewhere in what is supposed to be the regulatory system of public-private checks and balances, the simple tactic of underfunding the criminal justice system, the FBI, state and local prosecutors – or actively blocking them, as George Bush did – leaves the economy without adequate protection against financial fraud and predatory credit. Putting the Congressional financial committee heads up for sale to the highest campaign contributors caps the process of transforming economic democracy into oligarchy.

Britain affords a horror story that serves as a case in point. The management guru John Kay wrote a column in the Financial Times this week tracing how bank lobbyists managed to de-tooth meaningful regulation. The moral is that “self-regulation” by finance has become a universal tendency these days, and is utterly ineffective – by design!

Meaningful regulation should start with the premise that the right of banks to create credit out of thin air (actually, out of strokes on a computer keyboard, as long as bankers can find borrowers to sign IOUs) is a public utility. Mr. Obama and his Treasury do not agree. They treat credit creation as a private Wall Street monopoly, to be regulated more in name than in practice. The result is a Thatcherite giveaway to the banking sector – and as Tim Geithner noted, Wall Street institutions of all stripes, from brokerage houses to automobile lenders and retail stores are now declaring themselves “banks” in order to get government handouts to anyone who is a credit (but nothing for their debtors). This is part of the New Class War that the Bush-Obama administration has sponsored to polarize the economy between creditors and debtors.

The politically astute way to deregulate a public utility – especially in the wake of a financial crisis that has much of the population up in arms – is to shed crocodile tears over Wall Street’s “culture of irresponsibility,” as Mr. Obama did on Wednesday, and then claim that you are “centralizing” regulation to make it stronger rather than weaker. If you are going to block future bank regulation, of course you promise that your act will provide greater public oversight. Mr. Obama has tapped the Federal Reserve for this role. But this is precisely what exacerbated the Greenspan Bubble.

The problem is what has now become a tradition throughout the world, not only in the United States itself. Presidents Bush Sr., Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Mr. Obama all appointed deregulators drawn from the Wall Street’s managerial ranks or those of its lobbyists. This is the path of least political resistance in blocking meaningful regulation. All that is needed is for “regulators” to do nothing, OTS, SEC or Fed style. It is the same with the Federal Drug Administration and other regulatory agencies whose officials come from the managerial ranks of the industries to be regulated. The Japanese have a long experience in such matters. The retirement of Bank of Japan heads is called “descent from heaven”: They return to the banking sector to reap their just rewards, or at least to get a lifetime of exorbitantly paid dinner speeches.

The deregulation-by-centralization ploy peaked when Pres. George W. Bush used it to nullify attempts by state attorney generals to prosecute Countrywide Financial, Washington Mutual, Citibank and other financial crooks as criminal enterprises for making fraudulent subprime mortgage loans. The ruse Mr. Bush used to block their lawsuits was an obscure small-print rule from the 1864 National Bank Act giving Washington the power to overrule local states in bringing criminal charges. The motivation for this Civil War law was clear enough: Local governments and their courts tended to be venal and corrupt. Washington asserted its oversight so as to prosecute “wildcat banking” in an era when bankers issued their own bank notes, many of which were worth much less than their face value when their holders tried to spend them.

Pres. Bush turned this law on its head, blocking eleven state AGs from prosecuting financial fraud. Taking matters out of their hands, he assigned the complaints to the Washington national bank regulator – who refused to prosecute, claiming that fraud was all part of America’s wonderful free market. This has cost the U.S. economy over a trillion dollars so far. Washington has preferred to let the banks make their fraudulent loans, and then pay them in full (along with the financial companies they’ve victimized, but not the personal debtors of course) for their bad loans that defaulted, so as to “save the system.”

The moral is, let the fraudsters do what they want, let the appropriate congressional committee heads take enough campaign contributions from Wall Street to ensure their safe re-election, and end up using taxpayer-funded “cash for trash” swaps to make sure that crime (now rechristened as the “free market”) pays. This is what happens when a criminalized class achieves “regulatory capture.” And of course, nearly the same objective can be served by permitting financial affiliates to operate out of unregulated offshore tax-avoidance centers.

Mr. Obama’s reform does not propose repealing or qualifying this clause of the National Bank Act so as to permit any prosecutor to prosecute (but not to allow prosecutions of financial fraud to be blocked). Placing regulatory power in the Fed has the potential to sterilize any serious fraud prosecution to make an industry behave whose slogan these days should be “Frauds ‘R Us.” This is the Robert Rubin and Larry Summers-style free market – free for criminalized finance to proceed unchecked. And if Mr. Summers is to become the next Fed Chairman … well, you can guess where this will lead on the regulation/deregulatory spectrum between creditors and debtors!

And that is just the first part of a very comprehensive analysis! You can read the rest here.

Senator questions firing of 3 inspectors general
Removal of 2 inspectors general prompts questions

WASHINGTON – — He was appointed with fanfare as the public watchdog over the government’s multi-billion dollar bailout of the nation’s financial system. But now Neil Barofsky is embroiled in a dispute with the Obama administration that delayed one recent inquiry and sparked questions about his ability to freely investigate.

The disagreement stems from a claim by the Treasury Department that Barofsky is not entirely independent of the agency he is assigned to examine ¿ a claim that has prompted a stern letter from a Republican senator warning that agency officials are encroaching on the integrity of an office created to protect taxpayers.

Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, sent the letter Wednesday to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner demanding information about a “dispute over certain Treasury documents” that he said were being “withheld” from Barofsky’s office on a “specious claim of attorney-client privilege.”

“We are excited to see what appears to be a robust debate taking place in Iran,” –Barack Obama 6/12/09

“This is a debate inside of Iran for Iranians,” – Robert Gibbs 6/16/09

Carter-BrzezinskiIn 1976 Jimmy Carter was installed as a puppet president for Trilateralist manipulator Brzezinski. He embarked upon a self-righteous “human rights” crusade that cut off support and ultimately enabled the overthrow of the Shah of Iran. This idiotic and naive approach to foreign policy led directly to the Islamic Revolution and the rise of Ayatollah Khomeini and the Iranian hostage crises. The Iranian Revolution of 1979 quickly turned ugly as the radical mullahs seized power and led Iran down a 30 year path of war and despair and brutal suppression of human rights. The Iranian people bore the burden of this unfortunate episode in their history. The casualties of the Iran/Iraq war alone were over 1 million. The Brzezinski/Carter team were directly responsible for the rise of the radical Islamic fundamentalism. They then embarked on the policy of building up Saddam and supplying him with WMD’s as well to counter the mullahs. So instead of bringing peace to the middle East they brought war, death and chaos, all under the guise of “human rights.” After they finished meddling in Iran and Iraq the human rights violation increased a thousand fold than ever they were under the Shah. But we hear no complaints of “human rights” violations by the mullahs from the spineless Jimmy Carter.

Bloody Hand of Iranian Youth

Bloody Hand of Iranian Youth

Now in 2009 once again under the guise of “free elections” the mullahs are being challenged by a new generation. The youth of Iran are leading this revolution. Unwilling to accept the results of a rigged election they are taking to the streets in protest – as they should. The ideals of liberty and justice are percolating once again in Iran. The response by the Mullah thugocracy so far has been brutal. It brings to mind Tianamin Square in 1989, Czechoslovakia in 1968. The easily recognized pattern of the  brutal suppression of basic human rights by oppressive regimes. Murderous thugs roaming the streets, killing and beating innocent people who’s only crime is desire to be free.

Robust debate?

Obama calls this a robust debate?

But Barack Obama, the glorious leader of the free world, has the temerity to call this a “robust debate.” What a friggin’ idiot. People are murdered and shot in the street by thugs of a regime that suppresses all dissent with violence and he calls this a healthy debate? This did not just begin with this current election, it’s been going on since 1979 when Obama was smoking pot at Columbia. This new Brzezinski clone is just as clueless as Carter and far more dangerous. While chumming around with Hugo Chavez, who is a good friend of Achmadinajihad, a certifiable nut job and a state sponsor of radical Islam and terrorism, Obama seems to conveniently forgive the offenses of these two clowns to the civilized world. I suspect he holds them in secret admiration for their hatred of the US and their ability to seize and hold power by any means necessary. This moron calls a rigged election a “robust debate”, thinking perhaps of his own rigged re-election in 2012.

Iran_ObamaI find his response disgraceful in that it offers support and hope for Achmadinijihad to survive by claiming their is no real difference between the two main contestants Achmadinajihad and Mousavi. Obama has endorsed a nuclear armed Iran as if it were no threat to the world. Even Ron Paul has done the same which causes me to question his judgement as well. The fact is that nuclear Iran is a threat to the entire Middle East as it will force all the Arab states to pursue nukes. Instigating an arms race is not a way to peace and stability.

obama-brzezinskiThe fate of the Iranian revolution rests in the hands of the Iranian people but even the French President has offered much stronger support for the Iranian people than Obama’s appeasing soft shoe routine. Obama had no problems meddling in Kenya’s internal affairs when as a US Senator he got Odinga “elected.” So the claims of not meddling coming from our ‘meddler in Chief’ is complete baloney. I get the feeling that a free Iran just does not fit into the Brzezinski plans for a New World Order. It is clear to me that Obama wants Achmadinajihad to stay in power and he wants him to have nukes. Non-interference doesn’t mean that you can’t address the truth of the brutality and suppression of liberty in Iran by the mullahs. It is much preferable to me to have the Iranian people throw out the mullahs than that we should have to go war or bomb their nuke sites. And as far as interfering goes it is Iran that has been interfering in Iraq. They are responsible for the loss of a lot of our soldiers lives with their weapons, IED technology and active terrorist training program. The new Brzezinski/Obama team is as inept at the former Carter episode. So much for the change of the Neocoms like Obama. It’s the just same old crap sandwich in a different wrapping.

The following are some pictures and videos which I found at this blog which has done an excellent job at getting out information about the protests and violence taking place in Teheran. Lots of good pictures here as well.

HANI – The New Revolution in Teheran

“We didn’t want to rebel, but we want freedom, democracy and equality. We can’t use the internet to get the news, all websites have been filtered and mobiles are jammed. FriendFeed, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and all social networks are also filtered. All the news agencies are also filtered and some newspapers have closed.

[The authorities] have lowered internet speed to such a low rate that we cannot follow the news with it. Our state media is also cooperating with the government — they don’t show any news at all. All these things signify what we’re going through right now.”

Barack Obama – Lord of the Fly

June 17, 2009

What I find so pathetic about this clip is the idolatrous adulation he receives from his gushing admirer “Gibbs” who is suppose to be interviewing him as a professional. The guy is giddy like a girl at a Beatles concert. Objective reporting of a free press is an outdated concept with today’s CFR controlled propaganda outlets. It also shows just how enamoured Obama is with himself. What an immature pretentious punk he is. It is a disgusting display of Obama’s narcissism and the media’s idolatry – or maybe I’m just reading to deep into it and it is a funny moment with our new super hero Obamaman!

Obama fires Inspector General investigating Mayor Kevin Johnson, a prominent supporter

June 12, 2009

“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set,” he said Wednesday. “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.” –Barack Obama

Thanks to swordattheready for this pic

Gerald Walpin, the inspector general of Americorps, was fired by Obama. Walpin was investigating the misuse of Federal money by Kevin Johnson, ex NBA star and now mayor of  Sacramento. He is described as a “prominent supporter” of Obama. Seems to me to be an obvious abuse of power to protect a corrupt political friend. Chicago politics, pay to play. We all remember how they screamed about Bush firing some attorney generals. I’ll bet the democrats do an about face in this one and say nothing.

I suspect that this power play is far more sinister than just protecting his crony friend. Obama’s brown shirt volunteer program will build on AmeriCorp’s framework. He wants to transform it into his own personal army and civilian security agency with military power and training. Just like Hitler did. He has stated this clearly so I think this is his long term goal and he needed to get this guy out of the way.

In another issue related only to Chicago style political corruption, the major witness into the investigation into the Blagogate pay to play selling of Obama’s old US Senate seat to Sen Burris’s, John Ruff has found himself unexpectedly in another realm. We hope that is heaven and not the infernal regions. His BMW wrapped itself around a tree with no explanation of how it got there. Looks like Obama is quickly getting a body count to compare to the 125+ on the Clinton dead list.

The political fallout of Blagogate continues.

By ANN SANNER and PETE YOST, Associated Press Writers – 1 hr 3 mins ago

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama says he has lost confidence in the inspector general who investigates AmeriCorps and other national service programs and has told Congress he is removing him from the position.

Obama’s move follows an investigation by IG Gerald Walpin finding misuse of federal grants by a nonprofit education group led by Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, who is an Obama supporter and former NBA basketball star.

Walpin was criticized by the acting U.S. attorney in Sacramento for the way he handled an investigation of Johnson and St. HOPE Academy, a nonprofit group that received hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal grants from the Corporation for National and Community Service. The corporation runs the AmeriCorps program.

“It is vital that I have the fullest confidence in the appointees serving as inspectors general,” Obama said in a letter Thursday to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Joe Biden, who also serves as president of the Senate. “That is no longer the case with regard to this inspector general.”

The president didn’t offer any more explanation, but White House Counsel Gregory Craig, in a letter to Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, cited the U.S. attorney’s criticism of Walpin to an integrity committee for inspectors general.

Wauseon plant to open Monday for 110-mpg car engines

June 4, 2009

Doug_PelmearDoug Pelmear has designed built and tested an internal combustion gas engine that gets 110 MPG!!!

This is a real practical solution to GM and America’s car problems and our energy dependency and air pollution.

Precision tolerances and manufacturing techniques allow for an internal combustion engine that is 4 TIMES MORE EFFICIENT.

Do you think a government run GM will achieve this standard of quality? The industry that invented planned obsolescence and low quality just so they could sell more cars to pay the Union dues and inefficient production costs. They rival the government in inefficiency which is exactly why they went out of business.

So the government is going to now show them how to make a profit? The most unprofitable enterprise in the history of the world – the US government? It’s ridiculous. It is just a power grab by the socialists liberals and the New World Order global elite. Besides GM is moving its production to China. But somehow Obama has duped the Union by giving them shares in the new GM and robbing the pension fund to pay Chase and Citi in full while the rest of the creditors and shareholders and bondholders got zip. Don’t think he’s playing politics already with GM by closing dealerships associated with Republicans? Guess again.

Wauseon plant to open Monday for 110-mpg car engines

WAUSEON – The man who drove his 20-year-old Mustang from Napoleon, Ohio, to Las Vegas and back last year on 39 gallons of fuel will open his first manufacturing facility Monday to allow others to get 110 miles per gallon.

Doug Pelmear, owner of Horse Power Sales.net Inc. and Hp2G LLC, will hold an open house Monday morning in the idle 100,000-square-foot factory he has leased in Wauseon to begin manufacturing his revolutionary engine.

The factory, on the Fulton Industries Inc. campus in Wauseon, will be tooled to initially turn out 20 of Mr. Pelmear’s custom engines per day with one shift of 25 workers.

A Decatur, Ind., specialty car company, Revenge Designs Inc., has contracted with Mr. Pelmear to purchase 2,000 engines for use in a new vehicle it plans to unveil at the end of this year at the Los Angeles International Auto Show. The vehicle is to be called the Revenge Verde Super Car, which will use Mr. Pelmear’s 400-horsepower engine and its 500 foot-pounds of torque to travel up to 200 mph and get 110 mpg – though admittedly not at the same time.

“The engine is going to be a really great partnership with the car,” explained Emily Levault, a spokesman for Revenge Design. “The idea behind this was to give people what they want while putting people back in their jobs.”

Ms. Levault said the Verde will be introduced as both a left and right-hand drive, so that it can be marketed around the world. She said details of its pricing have not been released.

Mr. Pelmear has said that he employs more precise tolerances and manufacturing techniques to decrease heat and energy loss and increase the efficiency of the internal combustion engine. He said he has more than quadrupled the industry average engine efficiency of about 8 percent.

Mr. Pelmear’s company employs eight people, and he said he’ll “take resumes” on Monday, but won’t accept applications, for what would be his first shift of production workers. Depending on how the plant start-up goes, Mr. Pelmear said, “we’ll probably add another 25 over the next three months after that.” Mr. Pelmear did not say what workers will be paid.
